2018 O-Week: Learn more about studying demography

How long will we live? Can the earth support a growing population? Can migration solve our population problems? Are we heading towards a sustained era of population decline?

Associate Prof Vladimir Canudas-Romo will fully explore the importance of demography in answering the most important questions of our time.

Programs of study offered by the School of Demography provide students with an opportunity to study population issues in a research-led environment, with a focus on applying learning to real-world scenarios, and include:

  • Demography Minor
  • Master of Demography

This session will be offered as part of a full program of events offered during 2018 Orientation Week.
